People who complain about others touching them on packed subway cars. Trust me, I don’t want to be so close to you – I’m practically inside your body by osmosis HOWEVER, the train is so crowded I don’t really have a choice, do I? But, I’m dealing with it. You giving me dirty looks anytime the train jolts me forward (because you also conveniently need your whole body to hug the pole so no one else can) isn’t helping either of us. If you’re going to be that sensitive you probably should have taken a cab, princess.

Being a city girl and all your cousins upstate making fun of you being afraid of pretty much any type of creature. I’m sorry I don’t have much experience dealing with GIANT garden snakes and ROGUE wasp nests in my 4 floor walk up. Also, when you’re swimming in a lake or pond and anytime pretty much anything touches your feet and you freak out because you’re positive it’s a fish scoping out how easy it would be to devour your toes.

When fun things have to end. Like long weekends with family, riding four wheelers, and s’mores by the bonfire. And picking out constellations from a HOT TUB! It was actually depressing coming back to NYC. What’s that about? I love NYC! So why am I wishing summer wasn’t over and I could hang out sipping shitty wine coolers 4 hours away from home???? Sigh.

When you’re broke and see so many awesome things you want to buy. Why is every concert ticket, shoe sale, and fun gathering happening ALL ON THE WEEK BEFORE YOU GET PAID? Is this some cosmic retribution for laughing at the lady who got off the train too late and had the doors squish her face when they closed on it?

When Dunkin Donuts messes up your order, and then makes you wait 15 min to not really fix it. Oh, and it’s 7am and you’re already not having a good day because you tripped on your cat, hit your head on your dresser and you’re pretty sure it’s going to become a golf ball size welt. Plus, it’s on a part of your head you can’t cover with your side part.
